Long Island Water Quality Hearings

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and the Long Island Regional Planning Council (LIRPC) are embarking on a Long Island Nitrogen Action Plan, that is part of a wide-range of actions necessary to restore Long Island’s drinking and surface water.
 
In connection, they are hosting three meetings to discuss the scope of this plan and are looking for input from stakeholders.
