New York State Unclaimed Funds Program

If you need assistance, State Senator Martinez's office can help.  See note below:

Dear Neighbor,
I am writing to advise you of the New York State Unclaimed Funds program. New York State is currently holding more than $15 billion in lost money owed to state residents, businesses, and non-profit organizations. During these difficult economic times, our office wanted to make sure we did our best to find any way possible to help.
Under state law, banks, insurance companies, utilities, investment companies and many other businesses are required to turn over inactive accounts to the State. The Office of the State Comptroller then serves as the custodian of this money until it is claimed by its rightful owner. As your State Senator, I look forward to helping you get the money you are entitled to.
You can check if you have unclaimed funds owed to you by logging onto
New York State's Unclaimed Funds.  Once you’re logged in and checked that you have unclaimed funds held with the State, please follow the prompts to claim the money owed to you.
The representatives in my office would be pleased to help you receive your unclaimed funds as well as to answer any questions you may have. Please do not hesitate to contact my office at (631) 360-3356 if I can be of assistance with this or any other matter and share this information with your friends and loved ones.
